AEICE’s Duero Douro Hub initiative and its work group on Heritage for Development was awarded last October 2023 at the international AR&PA Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage in Portugal.
The initiative won the award for the Best Collaborative Project within Spain and Portugal. The ceremony award can be watched here.

What is AR&PA
AR&PA, Cultural tourism, is a social and cultural event with a programme to enjoy and learn about cultural heritage. It is oriented towards social participation with activities and workshops focused on schoolchildren, young people and families.
Territories with a Future from Aeice’s Duero Douro Hub
The forum ‘Territories with a Future’, an iniative that began within the Ruritage Project in 2021, has celebrated its 4th edition last February, at Arévalo (Ávila). With more than 200 assistants, the forum discussed the future of young people in the face of the demographic challenge in the region of Castille and Leon. Different public and private entities, from the habitat sector, accompanied us in a one and a half days event where we could
